Saddle Up for the 107th Annual Livermore Rodeo – June 14–15, 2025
The Livermore Rodeo, affectionately known as the “World’s Fastest Rodeo,” returns for its 107th year on June 14 and 15, 2025, at Robertson Park. This cherished local tradition, sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), offers a weekend filled with thrilling rodeo events, community festivities, and a celebration of Livermore’s rich western heritage.
Rodeo Weekend Highlights
Saturday, June 14 – Tough Enough to Wear Pink Day
Rodeo Parade: Kick off the festivities at 10:00 AM with the annual Rodeo Parade through Downtown Livermore. Local schools, equestrian groups, and community organizations bring the streets to life with colorful floats and performances.
Gates Open: Robertson Park opens at 11:00 AM. Explore vendor row featuring local artisans, food stalls, and family-friendly activities.
Grand Entry: At 3:00 PM, the rodeo officially begins with the Grand Entry, followed by events including:
Bareback Riding
Tie-Down Roping
Local Team Roping
Saddle Bronc Riding
Steer Wrestling
Breakaway Roping
PRCA Team Roping
Barrel Racing
Bull Riding
Tough Enough to Wear Pink: Show your support for breast cancer research by wearing pink. Purchase a “Give Cancer the Boot” lapel pin at the TETWP booth to contribute to the cause.
Sunday, June 15 – Patriot Day
Lil Pardners Rodeo: Arrive early at 11:00 AM to cheer on children with special needs as they participate in mock rodeo events.
Grand Entry: The rodeo continues at 3:00 PM with the same lineup of events as Saturday.
Patriot Day: Honor our service men and women by wearing red or blue.
Pre-Rodeo Events
Leading up to the main event, several activities set the stage for rodeo weekend:
Princess Competition: On Saturday, June 7, witness the 10th Annual Princess Competition, featuring a dinner and coronation ceremony at the Livermore Rodeo Grounds.
Team Branding Mixer: Join the 44th Annual Mixer & Team Branding on Wednesday, June 11, at Robertson Park Rodeo Arena. Enjoy team branding, live music, and a Tri-Tip BBQ dinner. Gates open at 4:30 PM.
Local Team Roping Slack: On Thursday, June 12, watch local teams compete in roping events starting at 6:00 PM. Admission is free.
Pro Rodeo Slack & Cowgirl Luncheon: Friday, June 13, features top PRCA performers in the Pro Rodeo Slack at 8:00 AM, followed by the Cowgirl Luncheon with a steak lunch, silent auctions, and commemorative wine glasses.

Parking: Available on-site for $20.
What to Bring: Sun protection is essential—hats, sunscreen, and empty water bottles are recommended. Note that ice chests, outside food/beverages, lawn chairs, umbrellas, and professional cameras are not permitted.
